Kind Schools Commitment to Child Safety

Kind Schools is committed to implementing & upholding the Child Safe Standards which form part of the Victorian Government’s response to the Betrayal of Trust Inquiry (the 2013 Parliamentary Inquiry into the Handling of Child Abuse by Religious and Other Non-Government Organisations).

Kind Schools has zero tolerance for child abuse. Everyone at Kind Schools is responsible for the care and protection of children and reporting information about any potential or suspected child abuse and owes a duty of care to prevent the sexual or psychological abuse of a child by any individual.   

All Kind Schools Staff (Board, employees, volunteers, and key contractors) fully support our Kind Schools Child Safety Policy, (incorporating a Kind Schools Child Safe Procedures Policy, Kind Schools Code of Conduct and Kind Schools Safety for Vulnerable People Policy).
